sumkee
I just got a a Sony Vaio FW series notebook with the following specs: Intel® Core 2™ Duo Processor P8600 (2.4GHz) ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3470 with 256MB vRAM LCD 16.4" (XBRITE-HiColor™) WLAN (802.11a/b/g/n) with integrated Bluetooth® technology I have already installed Leopard (Kalyway 10.5.2), and I know that there are not that many video cards that are working under Leopard. Since I'm new to this forum, I am not sure if mine is supported. Also, the ethernet card and wifi are still not working. Can anyone give me some insights? Thank you! I have a FW21E with Ati 3470 graphics card. I installed 10.5.2 version without any problems. But after the installation, in the welcome screen, I saw the mac apple picture and then screen freezes. I could not make the setup through the voice commands. someone here said to change the resolution but I could not do that as well through the voice commands. Sould I try a newer version, or wait for the proper release with proper drivers? Or if there is a solution, could someone pls help me to sort it out

VIC_CN
up~ I'm waiting for this driver, too. Is there any simularity between the Trial 2 of HD3650M and the driver for HD3470M? If it's yes I think we are approaching to the goal.

If this is any help, if the 3400 kext is out there, maybe its just a matter of changing deviceID's in the kext or something. im not a programmer but if someone can point me in the right direction il be happy to give it a go.
