GeForce 9300M GS Drivers

I'm trying to get my 256MB GeForce 9300M GS to work, I did a search and came up with this topic, tried what was advised but couldn't get it to work.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check my sticky topic about nvidia installation, you'll need latest kexts from the macbook update.

Hi - I am having the same issues - cannot get any drivers to work with my nVidia 9300M GS on ACER 6930. Has anyone come up with any solutions yet as I would hate to go back to windows

CoreVidia is working on Dell vostro 1520 (no second screen / VGA output) Nvidia 9300M GS.

Ive had no luck getting this card working and to be honest, struggle using kexts and strings etc. If anyone can shed any advice, or if possible, a guide, please post back, it would mean a lot to me. Thanks

Has anyone got a working driver yet for a Laptop (acer 6930g)

 

I have tryed NVdarwin-1.2.5.pkg but come out in this error (see attachments)

 

Tryed NVIDIA 9000 Series Driver v2 but couldn't see any drivers for 9300 GS

hmmm, Ill give it a try when its been restored again Good job i have a time machine backup into my NAS drive

Hello,

 

I've got a Lenovo N500 3000 Laptop (with a manuf. part no NS76QTX) and it's got an

 

nVidia GeForce 9300M GPU.

 

Currently, it's got Ubuntu 9.04 and it's working fine but I'd like to install OSX86 onto it.

 

I see there are some compatibility and driver issues with GeForce 9300M, aren't they solved yet?

 

do you advise me to go on and install a version of OSX86?
