Easy steps Just delete all of X3100 files from /system/Libary/Extensions/ which are includes AppleIntelGMAX3100.kext AppleIntelGMAX3100FB.kext AppIeIntelGMAX3100GA.pugin AppleIntelGMAX3100GLDriver.bundle AppleIntelGMAX3100VADriver.bundle After restrat u laptop, u should able to change the brightness during the OS selection screen, then, Mac os will start up with right brightness u have choosed during the OS selection screen.
