shootingfreak101
Hey guys well a lot of us have seen all of the different OS that have been developed for the netbook line of laptops. Many of us have searched for a different OS for out iphone. The biggest hit has been linux but it is in the alpha stage and will most likely remain that way. A few of us feel that the new google Andriod will makes its way to the iphone after is has been ported. Well here is the good news, Winows mobile will be usable side by side on the iphone in January! If you don't believe me, then check out this video. Lolz at the part about girlfriends at the end...its a rofler! http://5x5m.com/lp/277/windowsmobile.html
ludacrisvp
Looks interesting. I wonder if they will fix the screen resolution for inside windows mobile since they are obviously different.
Orea
That would be epic, InternetSharing on Windows Mobile pwns. Shame that video's a faker.
ukdmbfan
There was a write-up about this vid a little while ago in one of the major tech publications, I'll try and dig it up. It basically summed up the fact that the video is a fake (it's likely just an app considering you don't seem him actually initiate a boot, he just turns it round) because the expo they're at is fake, and only one of the companies you can see advertised in the video is actually real - Sonic Emotion - who are also the only company advertised on the expo's website. Quite conveniently, they've just released an iPhone app. Don't ever expect to see Windows Mobile ported to the iPhone unless somebody has an awful amount of time on their hands. Also, just found the analysis: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/10/14/ip...windows_mobile/

your mother
Why would anyone want to disrespect their iphone by putting Windows mobile which is complete trash compared to iphone OS. My g/f has a windows mobile phone and I can't stand the interface.
fryke
Now that you say it, of course everyone feels stupid. How could we have known that your g/f has a Windows Mobile phone and that _clearly_ you hated its interface, rendering even the _thought_ of running a different OS on the iPhone completely futile? Zybr0n
ok so obviously no windows mobile. But what about Android? Is that feasible?

Ever found tools like pocket office for the iphone? Ever found good PSX emulators ? Also, all the drivers, for example, to use a wiimote for playing games ?
