Blue ray drives

I am in the process of building my first dual boot system and was wondering if a blue ray DVD burner drive like the this one will work in Leopard.

Here is the description:

The LG GGC-H20L 16X Blu-ray/HD DVD drive brings you dual-layer DVD capability, LightScribe creativity, and LG quality. The drive connects via SATA. In dual-layer mode, you'll be able to write 8.5 GB of data to one dual-layer DVD, in DVD±R mode, you'll get 16X write speed, and you can play and burn HD DVD and play Blu-Ray media! No matter what media you need to work with, you'll have the right tools to get the job done quickly and accurately.

Blu-ray Disc offers an unprecedented 25 GB capacity on a single-layer disc and 50 GB on a dual layer disc. That's enough storage for nine hours of HD movies, 23 hours of standard definition content or 72 CDs on a single disc! In addition to its massive storage capacity, Blu-ray Disc gives you MPEG2 playback, the native compression technique for HDTV broadcasts, or even more capacity with advanced codes such as AVC.
