warmcola Posted March 27, 2006 Share Posted March 27, 2006 its been about a month and a half now since apple last sent out press invitations to a special media event that concluded with the release of the intel mac mini and the ipod hifi. it has been heavily speculated that apple would host some sort of event this week for some of the best releases of the year. does anyone remember steve pointing out that apple's 30th birthday was coming up soon? well the date is practically upon us. april 1st is this saturday and i havent seen so much as postcard from steve. no emails giving a time and date and the simple phrase "one more thing" this time around. maybe they are holding off until the tuesday after their birthday. maybe they will quietly update their website saturday or even tomorrow. maybe the analysts are all wrong. i personally hope that they are not and i hope to see some fantastic new offerings this week. we could possibly see an iPhone, the true iPod Video, iTablet, a newer revamped eMac. thoughts?
