Glaciadluz
Hello, sorry for my poor english. I'm French. I have a problem with my hackintosh in Acer Aspire 5652 with Ideneb 10.5.4. In fact, after the installation, i can see my screen only on my external monitor and my internal lcd is white/yellow. So, i can't use my laptop like a laptop. Any ideas ? thansks
djmastera2000
Which driver/injector are you using or which did you installed? e.g. natit, etc....

andrewq2
I think this might work Plug in the external monitor. Get OSX86 Tools open it Click on Add EFI Strings/Boot Flag. Then it will open a new window click on GFX Strings at the top. There will be a drop down menu click it scroll to the bottom. Click custom GeForce. Then type in the popup box nVidia GeForce 7600 GO click ok. Click on the correct VRAM that your card has then click ok. Click on VGA / DVI-I then click on ok. After you click ok the boxes will be filled with info. Then click on import string into boot Editor at top. Then click Apply changes to com.apple.Boot.plist Enter your admin password then hit ok. Next we have to delete the video injectors Then go to terminal type in "cd /System/Library/Extensions" press enter Then do "sudo rm -r <insert injector/ graphic .kext here>" to any injectors / graphics kext's press enter and type your password. repeat for all of the video drivers and injectors. Reboot. Enter -v -f for kernel flags for this time only (rebuilding Extensions.mkext cache) Hopefully this will work

djmastera2000
Sorry, wasn't online till now... I only got qe/ci back on 10.5.5 with natit/nvkush(other not tested), efi strings didn't give me acceleration back On 10.5.2 with efi strings it was ok Didn't find what changed yet... Try this(disable efi strings and delete other injectors before): NVkush.kext.zip
nebuluz
Same here... I have an GeForce Go 7300... EFI String was fine before 10.5.4 and 10.5.5... Well i got qe/ci workning now, found out 2 ways to do it. 1) Using the old Natit.kext, work 100% but System Profiler says Unknown display. 2) Use EFI String and install the latest driver pack from nvinstall.com. After my new freash install i did stick with Natit.kext, the latest nvinstall does mod alots of files even openglframework... and i prefer a vanilla install with EFI partition.
