Hi All,

I have successfully (if you can call it that) installed OSX 10.4.4 on my Sony Vaio PCG-K25 laptop. It boots up fine and looks good... but, there are some problems with it that I need help solving (yes, I looked these up in the wiki... thanks for asking):

  • video - no kext loaded, stuck on default resolution
  • audio - OSX not even recognizing the built-in AC97 as being there
  • Network - neither onboard wireless or LAN card working
  • Appearance - how do I eventually dump the Darwin bootup text for the default OSX flash images?

Video - ATI Radeon IGP 34M Vendor: ATI 0x1002, Device ID: 0x4337

Audio - AC97 compliant Vendor/Device ID: ??

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
