olvko
Safe to update. I used separate package as I wanted to check if inside is really what should be according to Apple Newsletter - and in fact it's safe to instal, also by Software Update. Dabluest
perimbean:I am on amd not vanilla and i was wondering if it was safe withe the voodoo 9.5 beta 1 kernel? No problems on AMD with Voodoo 9.5 Beta Kernel, though I did install it via Zephyroth's Update Utility just to be safe.
braveskunk
i can confirm it's safe. i'm running kalyway 10.5.5 with voodoo_beta1 (9.5) kernel and nothing wrong happend after the reboot. leopard just restared and it took a bit longer to load(normal after update in my case). my distro isn't vanilla compatible and it's working allright after so i think it's safe for everyone. updated via software update and NOT with Zephyroth's Update Utility
~ BlurKing
yup it's safe can be updated through Software Update, now boots faster (at least in my case it did) using iAtkos v4i updated to 10.5.5 with 9.5.0 Vanilla kernel, and Chameleon bootloader.
