The-ibex
Hello, I was wondering of there is a Kext for using a Jmicron IDE/ATA Controller? I heard the Standard none in Kalyway causes kernel panics, of maybe there's another kext out there i can use for my Jmicron IDE controller on my GA-G33M-DS2R? Many Thanx Grz From Amsterdam! JM only ab problem over 3 GB RAM (pamic). You can set maxmem=3072 at boottime (kernel flag) to avoid panic, but only have 3 GB. I dont know if set to 3072 works on all Mainboards, some say it must set below 3000 ?! (2024 - 2500).
