Well I'm to a point where I can change the resolution but no QE/CI. My card is recognized properly (HD2600pro). My device ID is in the ATIRadeonX2000.kext, and all the permissions are fine.

I also noticed that the only thing in the ATIRadeonx2000.kext file is the info.plist file, nothing else. The overall size is 4KB.

What should I do now?

So guess what happened. As soon as i sent you that pc about the me getting the card to work. So being stupid i accidently installed a video drivers package and lost the video display.

My computer shows apple logo, boots up fine then a quick white screen then a smooth blue screen.

Oh and regards to No qe add your device id to the info.plist.

looks like your going to need a new copy of the ATIradeonx2000.kext.

May i ask which Natit.kext did you use. i wouldnt mind with atleast acreen resolution.

My card was made Oct 2007. I bought this on black friday for $25 bucks from bestbuy afterall the coupons i applied.

org

After you install the latest natit.kext from netkas.org do you get smooth blue screen.

I was so stupid toinstall that package.

I think it might be the PCI-ex chipset from the nforce board.

You see, you and I both have Nforce boards. I think we need to try this on a intel board and see if it does the same thing. I'm thinking of a getting a p45 board in like 2 weeks when i get paid.

Anyways I have prayed to god so that instead i can work on my case rather than motherboard.

:)
