AmightySi
Hey, I finally managed to get iDenab working for my laptop by installing on my desktop on a portable HDD and then using it with my laptop. I can boot up fine, the apple logo on the white screen goes, it turn blue like its about to start and then the screen goes black and just stays off. Ive tried using an external monitor but that just stays black also. I've also tried booting with -x -v, to see if safe mode works, but the screen goes black just like normal mode. I thought the iDenab disk would work with my laptop graphics chip as in customize, it says Intel GMA x3100, What is wrong? Thanks
CharredPC
Solution posted elsewhere. Basically, don't select the X3100 driver during setup. OSX 10.5.5 now has the proper drivers built-in. You have a black screen because the old driver no longer works / is no longer needed. Quickest solution is to start over.
AmightySi
Thanks for the reply, but I've already tried this, i re-installed iDeneb without selecting anything in customize, I still get the black screen. Even in safe mode, I can not boot with -x or -x -v, I still get the black screen after the loading screen. What could I do now?
