xplizid Posted September 26, 2008 Share Posted September 26, 2008 So today I noticed a black border around my entire desktop that I have never noticed before this is a year old mbp. So i looked at my refresh rate and it does not allow me to change and says n/a s this abnormal. Again I have never noticed it and looks odd to me. Screen shot attached. Any ideas? Tried Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 Have you checked apple's knowledge base why not try setting up a second account, log in and see if the problem persists. If it does, you might have to reinstall the os and hopefully it solves your problem. If not it might be hardware related. All the best and tell us how it turns out.
