is there any way to network mac and pc or do i need a program to help me network both

Yes, it's called Samba.
You can enable it in the Sharing pref pane... Look around in there :)

how bout internet connection sharing between mac (host) and pc?

how bout internet connection sharing between mac (host) and pc?

Use a router for booth or if you haven't one install a proxy server on one PC.

You connect booth PCs via LAN. On one PC (the PC with the internet connection) you install Squid (or another application) as Proxy server.
Method 2: use a old pentium1 (3rd PC) to make a router yourself with Linux for the other 2 PCs.

Activate Windows sharing in System Preferences. Enable an account. Done.
