Especially for testing i'd like to see what my machine is doing, so i would like menumeters. Went to the Raging Menace site and picked up the source (http://www.ragingmenace.com/software/download/MenuMeters.tar.gz). It compiles with a warning about the install tool. I tried installing the ppc version, which gives me an icon in the prefpane which doesn't load. I checked the dirs under the Xcode project and found most of the executables in the Deployment dir. I doubleclicked the installer inthere and it looked like it worked! I can load the prefpanel for menumeters now, but when i try to activate it it gives me an error (see attached). I don't have the time right now, maybe someone else has ...

Btw the ppc binary Unison seems to work fine here.

You can load the icons in the preferencepanes if you select "open with rosetta" or "in_g100" with the systempreferences application.

(right click on systempreferences > show info)

Unfortenately the other things of menumeters refuse and give the same error as you have above,
