podude
I have just bought a nvidia gtx 280. Since installing the card I have not been able to boot my iAtkos v4i system. Does anyone have any sugestions as to how I can get this card to work, I don't have any experience with command line kext copying. Cheers guy Joe
enb14
Drivers are not working yet on 10.5.5 so what you have to do is delete all nvidia kexts (Geforce.. and NV..) then you will be able to boot but no CE QE.
podude
sorry forgot to say, it is 10.5.4 I'm a bit of a newb to this stuff, it appears that it cannot boot because of the card not being recognized

podude
are you using iatkos v4i? How do you boot using that mode? What kernal do you use? What graphics driver do you use? Thanks for your comments
Josh D
I'm using Kalyway 10.5.4 with the modbin kernal. No graphics drivers, just VESA 3.0 mode. I believe I did a safe boot with something like the following: "Graphics Mode"="1650x1280x32@60" I'll have to tonight at home to know for sure. I modified some plist file to make it permanent. I'll have to dig that up too I forget the details. I searched these forums a bunch for VESA 3 resolution type stuff.
