HTPC build

I'm looking to build a Mac Mini style hackintosh using XBMC that can decode x264 1080p and transmit audio and video over HDMI.

Here is what I'm looking at so far:

$159 - SILVERSTONE Grandia GD02B Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case

$75 - ASUS P5L-VM 1394 LGA 775 Intel 945G Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

$169 - 3.00ghz Dual-Core Intel E8400 45nm Core 2 Duo CPU

$40 - 2gb DDR2-800mhz RAM (2x1gb)

$65 - HITACHI Deskstar P7K500 HDP725050GLA360 (0A35415) 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

$30 - 20x Lite-on DVD burner with LightScribe

$8 - Encore PCI Gigabit Ethernet Network Card

$41 Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC 430W ATX Power Supply - Retail

$63 ZOTAC ZT-86TEH4P-FS GeForce 8600 GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready

Total: $650

Better than a Mac Mini (but I'd buy a mini if it had a 3.0ghz Core 2 Duo and could play audio over HDMI)

It's a bit pricy due to the case. Check out the case, it's really nice. Plus I need a graphics card with SPDIF pass through and a Micro ATX motherboard that has SPDIF working.

I also want to keep everything I need in one case with no external sound cards, etc.

I would appreciate comments on other hardware I should consider.
