jangoux
So, I got a iMac on my new job, and I am loving it so far, and I want to use osx on my own home-studio. I have a Intel Core 2 Quad (Q6600), Asus P5B Premium Vista Edition, ATI Radeon 7500 and an external firewire audio interface. I will only use it for my main audio software (Nuendo) and for browsing, writing documents in Office, etc. I took the whole evening reading this forum but I still have a few questions : - I really want to just use OsX, make it work, and leave it. What's the 'best' way to use vanilla osx ? Iatkos ? Anything else ? - My boot hard disk is a S-ATA, and besides that, i have other 3 S-ATA hard disks and two P-ATA (that I want to get rid soon...). Will i encounter any problems with so much hard disks ? I was also planning on doing raid mirroring using the controller built on the motherboard.. - Does it recognizes firewire chips (Texas instruments) easily ? - Anything else I should worry ? Thanks, Ivan
