MaaseyRacer
I found a terminal command to get rid of the itunes store arrows in iTunes 8. defaults write com.apple.iTunes show-store-arrow-links -bool FALSE Also the new visulizer is cool, but it is not as smooth or responsive as the original Magnetosphere. Gizmodo posted a link to down load Magnetosphere for Mac OS and Windows. Place it it in either your library or user library in the itunes/itunes plug-ins folder http://gizmodo.com/5048237/how-to-get-the-...lizer-in-itunes

kinkster
You could always get an itunes gift card for the account if personal data is what worries you.

iamzenitraM
You can use the code here to register without giving out a credit card: http://www.tunecore.com/freealbum Redeem that code (you can delete the songs later if you want), use fake infos (if you want to), say you don't have a credit card, done. You have to do this from the USA store - just change the store location on the bottom of the store. You also need a valid zipcode/city/state combination from the USA, google for it. I used Aspen, Colorado, zip code 81611.

asstastic
Windows Itunes update seems to have fixed the crash on exit problem. I no longer have to kill itunes from the task manager every time I tell it to quit.
