in search for wireless cards at fry's today i found the D-Link DWL-G630 notebook wireless card. and on sale for$19.99 til the end of march!! works perfectly in my acer aspire 1642WLMi running 10.4.5 native. it also registers as an airport card in system preferences. so anyone in need of a wireless card for cheap head to outpost.com ot your local fry's and grab one!! I have the DWL-G630, and it seems to work fine, but I can only seem to get it to detect new networks during boot. Also, I dont think I can take it out and put it back in without rebooting.
Any ideas?
