Help with XFX 8500GT

Firstly, my pc is the following:

 

Athlon X2 6000+

Asus M2N-E SLI

XFX Geforce 8500GT 256mb

Realtek 8169SC lan

 

I've installed Zephyroth`s release 10.5.2. Everything is working, except for the graphics drivers.

 

I've tried everything, but nothing works.

 

Just tried to install using Nvidia Installer 3.0 beta by PUNK62, rebooted and after the Apple logo screen with that thing spinning the screen got completely black and nothing happens.

 

Can anyone help me?

Nevermind. Problem solved!

I'm using my 8500GT with it's digital output (DVI).

Quartz Extreme is working too =D

 

For those of you with that problem:

 

I've deleted all NVIDIA driver files

NVDAResman.kext

NVDANV50Hal.kext

NVDANV40Hal.kext

NVDANV30Hal.kext

NVDANV20Hal.kext

NVDANV10Hal.kext

GeForce3GLDriver.bundle

GeForce2MXGLDriver.bundle

GeForceVADriver.bundle

GeForceGA.plugin

GeForceFXGLDriver.bundle

GeForce8xxxGLDriver.bundle

GeForce7xxxGLDriver.bundle

GeForce.kext

NVinject.kext

 

Then installed insanelymac NVIDIA INSTALLER V3.0 Beta Version BY PUNK92.

When the installation finishes, don't reboot the pc yet.

Add your device ID in /system/library/extensions/NVDAResman.kext/contents/info.plist

Add your device ID in /system/library/extensions/NVDANV50Hal.kext/contents/info.plist

Add your device ID in /system/library/extensions/NVinject.kext/contents/info.plist

In the same plist (NVinject), set the NVCAP string correctly and replace the IOProbeScore number by 0.

My XFX 8500GT 256mb has 1 DVI + 1 VGA + 1 TVOUT, so i set NVCAP with 04000000 00000100 0E000000 00000007 00000000

 

Now reboot the pc.
