AchisMac
Hello,i'm thinking of installing XP on my mac but i would like to ask something.... When i press the Power Button, can the computer boot in OS X without having to choose OS in the bootloader? I will boot in OS X all the time so i'd prefer it to boot automatically! Is this possible? KublaKhan
Why do you want to install XP on your mac if you're not going to use it? By the way, it boots OSX automatically after 30 sec. if you don't select XP or Mac...
AchisMac
I just want to have a small XP Partition to play games (when the correct driver is found) 30 sec? Too much! I hope the developers will make it 10" in the next version....
KublaKhan
Since this is opensource, what I am hoping is that they'll make an installer where they will include a bunch of options to configure it... even allowing you to install linux, or maybe even change the picture of the OS (if you catch my drift ). This kind of hack leaves much for the wanting - so I hope that they'll have a sourceforge repository up soon, and that it gets off to a great start... L EphIno
For you guys that want to just boot back into osx and manually set xp, just bless back the original efi file by doing the following: cd /System/Library/CoreServices sudo bless --folder . --file boot.efi --setBoot Then just reboot and you've taken off the boot loader. Then likewise to set backup xom do the following cd /System/Library/CoreServices sudo bless --folder . --file xom.efi --setBoot I've attached 2 .term files that will automatically install and uninstall the boot loader for you, just type in your admin pw and your set! Hope this helps till they get a timer on! *note: only use xom.term if you put xom.efi in your coreservices dir! Boot_Changers.zip
