MaC.OsX.10.4.5.Universal.Install.DVD(INTEL_AMD_SSE3_SSE2).iso

installed successful on:

Celeron D 331

Asus P5LD2-VM

1GB DDR2-533

OnBoard LAN supported automatically. Onboard HDAudio doesn't functions, no Audiodevice detected.

ATI Radeon X300 + TFT = no refreshrate selection, so you see white stripes rolling over the screen and paint error. squares, which are not suppossed to be there...

Perhaps someone can help me here...

yeah, SATA.

i'm not using the onboard graphic, though it should be the best choice, but i don't want to play pes5 with the onboard graphic, so using X300. MB checks, whether a PCIe Graphiccard is insert, if not, the onboard graphic will be enabled.

I just installed the patch for ati radeon cards like in some other threads described, and have now QE and CI enabled.

I copied over the old AppleAzaliaAudio.kext so my onboard soundchip ALC886 is also functioning properly, except audio-in, of course.

Though, still graphic errors, squares and so on...

the refresh rate is 60hz... to change this, i read that i have to change the default refresh rate of the graphiccard itself, but the using programs are no longer available or too old, so this can't be tested and i have to live with 60hz...

I have the same problem with graphic interface rendering: when some window effect (or even window move) occures, square under cursor is rendered incorrectly and "bad" square block remains on screen until next refresh of this part of the screen.

I tried to delete all ATI*.kext extensions in /System/Library/Extensions folder and it helped. But graphic acceleration (i don't know if it's quartz extreme or core graphics, but in system info written that quartz extreme supported with ATI extensions enabled) disappears too - in this state even Flurry screeensaver is like slideshow ;)(

Does anyone know how to solve problem ?

Intel Pentium M (Dothan) 1.6Ghz (only SSE2 supported), ATI Radeon 9700 Mobile

You might try Mousepose, do a Google on it. It fixed my 'blocks' and mouse tearing 99%. Use a size of 0 and a radius of 40, and turn off the "Switch off after X seconds" option. Also load it at startup.

3. QE and CI supported, ATI Graphic Card (System Profiler window)

4. Internet available (Safari)

5. I can download the security update, which proves, that i got 10.4.5

what's the advantage of using this .iso instead of the one posted by Myzar? I have the impression that in the end it's just the same thing with a different name!

you are a funny guy... have i ever said, that this iso is better??? i just said it works for me, so stfu and use your brain...

Thanks for advice. I've downloaded MousePose and blocks and mouse tearing disappeared. But another effect appeared instead - my mouse is cursor blinking repeatedly and sometimes disappering when cursor stops )

As i understood this patch will work on PCI-Express ATI cards only ((( I have ATI Radeon 9700(AGP).
