Hello..

{censored}:

I have many huge files in my 500GB HD which is Western-Digital 7200RPM.

(More than 420GB is used space.. data of movies and softwares).

It was NTFS but I realize that this file system is really slow.. (Also, I can't write except if I use a third party application).

When I tried to move my data to another HD with Fat32 FileSystem I faced an old problem; each file should be smaller than 4GB.

I used Mac OS Extended Journaled file system instead. It's fast and perfect.

The Subject:

Now I have a new 1TB HD (7200RPM) which I'm going to use for Data only and it will be a shared HD.

I heard about Xsan 2 (Storage Area Network) file system and I want to try it. (where can I find it?)

Is Xsan good for me as a regular user? (Home Network).
