stovey
It never says running off AC Power. Could this cause some problems for battery life if Windows is always running off the Battery?
lane
Think of this project as trying to run a build of Linux from 2003 on your brand spanking new Core Duo laptop, there is no support for this build on that machine and you have to piece together drivers by trial and error. That said the Macbook is likely to get much worse battery life in XP until the drivers are found and even then OS X is likely to get tweaks improving performance whereas XP will only have a small community (maybe dozens) of programmers working to get performance improvements working. SpecMode
From what I can tell, the system is actually running from AC, but the Windows power management can't seem to be able to detect the MacBook's AC adapter as such. Watch the battery charge indicator, it shouldn't be going down as long as the machine is plugged in.
