bobbobson Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 It'll run fine you probably won't even notice the lack of QE with an E8400 until you try to do something that's graphics intensive. The VESA drivers are more then adequate for desktop use You can also run the string "Graphics Mode"="1600x1200x32" at the boot prompt or whatever res you want to get a decent resolution. The only thing that it doesn't do is 16:10 wide screen resolutions such as 16880x1050 which is a little bit of a pain if you run one of the newer wide screen LCD's Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
