DELL Dimension DM051 (BIOS A02) stuck in endless boot

Hello,

I am new towards the whole MAC specific hardware thing and I'm looking for a way to test a hackintosh (on my system)...

At work I've got a powerpc, so having a hackintosh would help me out of need time to time (till I have the money to effort a real one). So please don't blame me for trying things and looking like a fool by the more experienced users over here. I'm used to a more windows environment after all, but I'm willing to change that.

This said, I've read several posts in the wiki, looked for several sites and tried to figure things out. I was trying to test on a spare IDE hard drive. As I've read, it seemed Leo4all would be the best to use, so I tried this one...

my system:

DELL Dimesion 5150 (DM051 with BIOS A02)

Sata HDD: running a working XP

IDE HDD: trying to run osX Leopard (Leo4allV3)

basically I followed this guide http://leo4all.uni.cc/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=30

and did everything described in it, knowing my hardware.

choose the options (should deal with most of my hardware) on install with:

- vanilla kernel (intel) > tried both (9.2.0 and 9.2.2)

- Intel ICHx

- STAC9271

- Intel 100PRO VE

- for the rest I did not choose a graphic card, as I don't have a correct one listed (mine: ATI RADEON X600 hypermemory)

(I hoped to boot like XP in 16-bit modus or something and tried to figure things out once installed)

Everything went ok after the install and I choose to boot from IDE HDD. Where a dos prompt opens to press a key for start options. After that I can see Darwin or something with options: -V or ? (doesn't do anything) or just ENTER to go through.

They all do the same. I can see some text HFS+ (loading) or something and afterwards some green text. It goes to quick to read it but after that it just reboots (endless loop).

How is this possible. I've looked in my BIOS to adapt things and for options like endless boot and so but can't find a solution. Any help is hard appreciated...
