OSX_68_UK
I followed this post, and have been in the IRC room with some problems post install. To properly install the graphics card was a problem (ASUS EN8800GT 256MB), I had to use the "Nvidia Universal Installer" package to get QE supported and "Core Image: hardware acceleration". Then today I ran a package called "About this Mac" within the software distribution from this post. At this point my system no longer supports QE or hardware acceleration. I have since tried to reinstall the "Nvidia Universal Installer to get this stuff working again, but no luck. I am also experiencing some power management issues, Sleep works ok, but when I click power off, I end up having to hold in the power switch for four seconds to get it to power down the hardware. Can anyone help with these problem? TIA.
Burpethead
Probably just need to use NVinstaller for your NVIDIA card - www.nvinstaller.com And as for your issues, they're all easily fixed with PCWiz's control center and installation guide here.
