Hangampalli Posted August 23, 2008 Share Posted August 23, 2008 Hey guys, I'm extremely new to this whole forum and Hackintosh in general, so let me apologize if I'm acting newbish or something. Anyways, I was recently able to successfully install Kalyway 10.5.2 on my computer, which has the following specs: HP ZD8000 Custom Built Pentium 4 HT 3.2 2gb Ram 80 gb 7200rpm Harddrive ATI Mobility x600 256mb Video Card (hope thats everything) However, my only problem right now is the graphics card. My screen is meant to display at 1680x1050 so I hope you can see why the current 1024x768 is very annoying. I noticed some people on this forum have been able to patch their hackintosh to get their graphics card working, but I haven't been able to duplicate their success cause I'm an idiot and can't understand what their typing. I'm not entirely caught up on what QE/C and kexts are just yet. I tried some things so far. I downloaded some callisto things and moved them to a folder and ran some terminal things, but have been unsuccessful so far. I think it was because the instructions I found dealt with the 10.4 version and not this one. So if anybody doesn't mind helping out a noob, I would be greatly appreciative.
