dsc106
There is a thread dedicated to ppl working on drivers for the ATI 4850/4870... is anyone working on drivers for NVIDIA's new cards? I'd love to get a GTX 260 soon for gaming in windows, but still be able to use it in OS X...
Josh D
I have a Gigabyte p35 based vanilla Hackintosh with the nvidia GTX260 (palit). I'd love to get some drivers, currently running in vesa 3.0 @ 1680x1050 in millions without any QE or CI. I miss my ati hd2600xt because I can only run Aperture on my Macbook until some drivers come out. I'll be kicking myself for not getting the 4870 if ATI drivers come out first. cyclonefr
Just wait for Snow leopard, it has support for it.
dsc106
Does the current beta for snow leopard have support for it? Couldn't the drivers just be pulled from beta? If the current snow leopard beta does not have support, where did you get this info?
cyclonefr
The current beta supports it but drivers are incompatible with Leopard. OpenGL is too different.
Josh D
What's the ETA on snow leopard? (or can I try and find a preview copy?)
