rei Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Is it possible to run my HD4870 (unsupported in OSX86 at this moment) on my primary 16x PCIE slot in Windows and have OSX86 run off the second PCIE slot (intel mobo has 2 PCIE slots for video) with a supported HD2x/3x card? This is possible with EFI strings but u need Chameleon or PCI_EFI v8. They call it GFX strings and what it does it can make Mac OS X read your second card and ignore the fist one in PCIe slot. First thing your gonna need is gfxutil from Netkas I believe. If you look around you will find everything your looking for.
