poopmonkey Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 Well, I've read over some of the posts in this forum and it seems that no one has gotten the Geforce 9600GT running. Well I got this card a couple of months ago from XFX after my 7900GS decided to die, now the 9600 GT has been laying around here and I was thinking about building a Mac using this card, but since it seems there is no support for it, so should I wait a bit or just put the thing on ebay? Tirone Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 Anyone? I am in the same boat... I am running the 9600GT on Kalyway 10.5.4 at my native resolution (1680x1050), but with no QE/CI. Still, it works pretty well considering. Apparently it is supported by Snow Leopard, so I'm looking forward to Kalyway's release of that when it's out! Well, it seems that there is no support for it as of now, but I do not know if the wait is worth another year. Since I heard Jobs said that it's about a year away.
