some problems on 10.4.5 on thinkpad r51 with ati graphic

Hi there,

 

ive installed the myzar 10.4.4 with 10.4.5 option.

Now ive got some questions:

 

1.) ive also installed the amd option

how is this option meant? if installed does it mean:

it works now on both (intel & amd) or does it mean: now it only works for amd?

of course it runs on my centrino with amd option. but do i have all the optimisations for intel?

what to do best for my ibm thinkpad r51 (centrino)

 

2.) system works pretty fine, boots fast (less 1 min)

but all graphic apps crash

(idvd, imovie, iweb, screensaver)

i ve read thru the forum but im not shure what the problem exactly is.

is it cause of missing QE support? If so, any chance to get those apps running?

any chance to get QE running?

or is it because i havent removed the ati kext? (ive read removing them would help)

(ive booted the same os on an HP system with nvidia geforce and at least i got iweb running.)

whats best to do? i really would like to use those apps :censored2:

(other posts didnt helped. at least those i found)

 

3.) powermanagement: is there any chance to deactivate the sleep mode if i close my notebook?

(lockup prob.)

 

4.) WLAN (intel onboard adapter) any chance to get it running?

ps: audio works perfectly. ableton beta works. logic pro 7.2 works great with less then 1ms latency
