g.plumb Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 Hi guys I am new to OSX(86), and after some agro, I more or less have a working system. However, I have the same annoyance as lots of users out there - I am running on a laptop equipped with a Radeon X1400 - and forever banished to the land of 1024*768 and no fancy quartz for my sins! Since I know bugger all about driver development I started thinking and I had a crazy idea - what if all of the X1300/1400 users out there put a few tens of dollars (each) into a pot - which then goes straight into the pocket of the first developer who gets a driver that gives us all the bells and whistles we are after? If enough of us club together it might just be daft enough to work! Reply to this if you are game, along with the amount you would *seriously* contribute, then we can see if there is enough of a response to actually try it!
