Cyryl
Hi Empty Skull. You're saying that I need to install these: ATIRadeon.kext ATIRadeonX1000.kext ATIRadeonX1000GLDriver.bundle ATIRadeonX1000VADriver.bundle ATIRadeonX1000GA.plugin (the one for my id) But I don't see ATIRadeonX1000VADriver.bundle in the zip. Should I skip it?

Cyryl
ATIRadeonX1000GLDriver.bundleATIRadeonX1000VADriver.bundle if you want skip this .. but for security of work i have put this kext too .. No you didn't . These are the contents of the zip archive you provided. As you can see there is no ATIRadeonX1000VADriver.bundle in it. NEVERMIND BECAUSE I HAVE EVERYTHING WORKING ON MY ASUS EAX1950XT!!! Here's how I did it: 1. Install these: ATIRadeon.kext ATIRadeonX1000.kext ATIRadeonX1000GLDriver.bundle appropriate ATIRadeonX1000GA.plugin (0x72441002 in my case) 2. Reboot! 3. Install Natit.kext 3. Reboot. Everything works. When I've installed Natit.kext and other kexts at once I didn't have the transparent bar on the top. That's why it is important to install Natit.kext separately (at least in my case). THANK YOU EMPTY SKULL!!! HERE'S MY DESKTOP SCREENSHOT.

Cyryl
change this option :No, no. That's not it. What I'm trying to say is that I do have acceleration now (the acceleration didn't work when I installed all the kexts at once). I can set the transparency of the bar on or off (to my liking :censored2: ). Once again, thanks Empty Skull.

0xffff
Hi, I am having trouble with your driver. I have a x1900 512MB with dual dvi display. Not sure on the exact model, but the card was manufactured by ATI. I'm running leo4all 4.1 which is 10.5.4. I installed the ATI drivers, but erased them all prior to installing your driver. 1) I'm stuck at 1024x768, I cannot change this under system prefs. I can force it to 1400x1050 at boot, but not higher (e.g. 1680x1050). 2) My dual displays mirror one another and I can't set up an extended desktop. Presumably this is because my secondary display id (0x7269) is not supported by the driver. 3) I get mouse cursor artifacts when scrolling and moving the cursor around. Not sure if this a driver issue or something else. Here is my system profiler output: ATI Radeon X1900 Series: Chipset Model: ATI Radeon X1900 Series Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x7249 Revision ID: 0x0000 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Display Connector: And here is the output from Natit during boot: 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Starting. 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel device-id: 0x7269 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Found device 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Found device name 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,device_type=display 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,compatible=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,display-connect-flags=0x00000400 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,name=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,display-connect-flags=0x00000400 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting device_type=ATY,AlopiasParent 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,name=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,compatible=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,device_type=display 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting model=ATI Radeon X1900 Series Secondary 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Starting. 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel device-id: 0x7249 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Found device 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Found device name 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,device_type=display 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,compatible=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,display-connect-flags=0x00000400 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,name=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,display-connect-flags=0x00000400 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting device_type=ATY,AlopiasParent 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,name=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,compatible=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,device_type=display 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting model=ATI Radeon X1900 Series 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Starting. 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel device-id: 0x7249 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Found device 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Found device name 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,device_type=display 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,compatible=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,display-connect-flags=0x00000400 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,name=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,display-connect-flags=0x00000400 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting device_type=ATY,AlopiasParent 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @0,name=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,compatible=ATY,Alopias 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting @1,device_type=display 02/11/08 5:07:22 PM kernel Natit: Setting model=ATI Radeon X1900 Series Later on in the boot: 02/11/08 5:08:21 PM kernel ATY,Alopias: Not usable 02/11/08 5:08:21 PM kernel ATY,Alopias: Not usable 02/11/08 5:08:21 PM kernel ATY,Alopias: Not usable Any help you have is appreciated.
