Cave Man
I just picked up a Sony Blu-Ray SATA rom drive with the hope of watching some Blu-Ray titles on my hackintosh under Windows XP Pro/Fusion. The drive is seen on the Mac side and discs mount just fine. (Of course, there's no software for Blu-Ray video on the Mac side.) However, when I launch Fusion with Win XP Pro SP2 it does not even see the drive. Is there a utility on Win XP that allows me to pull up a list of hardware like System Profiler on the Mac? I'd like to see if the OS even sees that the drive is there.
sotodefonk
Device Manager. You can open device manager using the System icon in Control Panel, and choosing the Device Manager tab. It is also accessible by right-clicking on my PC, selecting properties, and selecting the device manager tab. There you can check the hardware that is detected, just like the system profiler.
