Installs ok, Everthing goes smoothly until I get to the main apple configuration screen (after the welcome screen), it asks if I have data to transfer over from another mac etc, select no, and then it just loops back to welcome screen again! annoyed because it looked very smooth until then.....have tried a number of different kernels/options without luck.

Abit IP35pro

Quad core 6600

6GB

Nvidia 8800GTX 768MB

2 x 500GB SATA HD in AHCI Mode

1 x Samsung SATA DVD Writer in AHCI Mode

Your net card si not supported...MAC must have working NET card.

Get your self a Realtek 8139D it works by it self autodetected by MAC and it works without driver.

or use This system is not connected to internet or something...?

weird, are you booting with any specific commands? I get to the apple screen and it goes gray and says it needs to reboot.

This happens after the installation? What did you selected? Your motherboard?

Try Boot with F8 and then write -v ....and tell us the error

I am so excited to try a new distro on my Dell D630. I've had much success with Leo4Allv1-3 and iDeneb seems like a perfect progression. Thanks Punk92, et al for all your hard work. I just wish I could get beyond the install disk hanging at: IOAPIC: Version 0x20 Vectors 0:23. I've tried different boot options to include -x cpus=1 maxmem=2048 noapic and others, but still have had no success. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

My D630 has these specs:

4GB memory

Intel T7500

120GB SATA, not set to AHCI

Intel Crestline Graphics GM965 Express

wxga 1280x800

Sigmatel 9205

Dell Wireless

Bluetooth

I have Inspiron 1501...tried this distro....installation went perfect.. ;) ....but looks like it did not detect my wireless card BCM4312(dell 1490) and also while booting it says keyboard not found....so i cannot enter the name and other detail screen

am i missing something here...leo4allV3 works perfect except the QE/CI(since my card 200m doesn't have drivers  )....

let me know what i can do for the wireless card and the keyboard....???

looking forward to trying this 10.5.4 distro....

EDIT: my specs

WXGA 1200x800

AMD turion 64 1.8Ghz

sigmatel 9200

ATI radeon 200M

wireless dell 1490

160GB SATA

Hi,

I selected the follo..

- AMD patch

-VIA-SB

- 9.4.0 MODBIN (AMD SSE3)

- Apple BC440X

- Wireless- Broadcom

- Applications.

I generally use Taruga's patch for my 9200 and Callisto v3 for resolution change.

i am not able to test the wireless since the install won't let me go beyond the keyboard not found issue after reboot...but i am assuming the card was not detected since i see the wireless icon when installing leo4allv3 which i didn't see this time. But it can tested later...i now need to go beyond the keyboard issue...

any help is appreciated....

TIA,

The applications said in the release like Firefox and Adium are not even in the release either. Did you seed the wrong release file or what man?

I installed Firefox and temp monitor from this DVD, it placed them into Applications/ideneb rather than straight into Applications as one might expect. Firefox was also in Italian which was a bit of a bind given I don't speak Italian lol so I un-installed it and installed it fresh from firefox's home page.
