xave
Hi guys, I am desperated after hours and hours of searching, tweeking... it still doesn't work. I have got a Buffalo 54g Cardbus Adapter WLI2-CB-F54L-3 that I bought yesterday at best buy. I have osx 10.4.8 and I did all the manipulations but it still doesn't work. I have the little airport icon, but I can't access to any network (even with the router at 3feet away...), Strangely the card id is 4318 (with the buffalo people have usually apparently 4320) Here some screens shot. Help!!!

T. Rae
Hello, I looked into device manager and this is what I found. Display Adapters: Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family Network Adapters Marvell Yukon 88E8039 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller Realtek RTL8187B Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter I downloaded 1117, and 1309 onto the this side, than put into shared and installed on MAC part, still nothing. I have wireless turned on, and even have it plugged in from my wireless Linksys Wireless - G 2.4GHZ Broadband Router I found a few posts of what I need to do, so I am going to try that quick. I was hoping to get this interent up and running, it sucks to have to restart get into this side just to access the interent. I would hopefully like to have this just MAC if I can get my wireless up and running. Cross Your Fingers

If anyone has the stuff listed above... go to Realtek.com download 1309 driver and 1117 driver. Install 1309 first, it will tell you need to reboot after successful install Restart again Check to see if worked, IF NOT Uninstall, go to 1117 do the same thing, reboot, than reboot again. IF nothing from them too. go into system/library/extensions/RTL8187B Open Info Find 33161 and change it to 33175 After I did this I saved it, rebooted. When I rebooted, it told me It found a network, that Realtek Utility shows up and than from there go to Available Networks, put in the password (if any) and your connected. This is my first time trying to explain things, so please if you need help let me know... I have a Toshiba A205 Satellite Laptop, and the network adapters are in my initial posts...
