Hello!

Need to uninstall/remove NVInject completely.

Then I'll restart and install KVKush.

This is to fix an issue I am having.

Any help here would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Panarchy

From terminal

sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext

Reboot

You will want to get rid of the caches as well then during boot hit the F8 key to have the boot menu come up once there use the hit any key option and type in -f hit the enter key to force the reload/re-caching of all .kext.

 rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/Caches
rm -r /System/Library/Caches
rm -r /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

Open Terminal and enter the following commands

sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

Reboot and it may show a dialog box that it is rebuilding Boot cache and will reboot

It says what it says...

If I'm doing something wrong, tell me!

No hardware graphics acceleration unfortunately.

You said you tried the guide that I posted in your other thread?

What version of osx are you running anyways? You never said.

Yes I did.

Oh, and I'm running 10.5.4 (10.5.2 Kalyway DVD, 10.5.3 Kalyway Update then 10.5.4 Apple Update [Chameleon]).

Please help me get this to work!

  • 1 year later...

I have a bad english (sory) it's not my mother's language :(

My Nvidia 7600GT card works well and is recognized. However, 3D acceleration is not working for Photoshop CS4 ... I use the kext of NVdarwin 1.2.5. Have you an idea (I modified the file Boot.plist with the EFI studio (application) and I recommend this method ;)

Thanks...
