I've been reading a lot of the threads concerning an xps, the last couple of days, and thought, I'd join I want to get a laptop, where I can produce music on. I want to try Logic also, as I've had a go at it at a friends house. Processor:Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T8300 (2,40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 3 MB L2-cache) Screen: 15,4-inch UltraSharp™ WSXGA+ (1.680 x 1.050) TFT-breedbeeldscherm with TrueLife™ RAM: 4.096 MB 667 MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2 x 2.048] HD: Hard Drive 250GB Free Fall Sensor (7200rpm) 3D card: NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 8600M GT, 256 MB Bluetooth:Dell™ Wireless 355 Bluetooth 2.0-module (tot 3 Mbps) met Enhanced Data rate - Eur Wireless: Intel® Wireless-N-minicard next gen So, whtat I was wondering, was, If I can use the built in wireless? There was something in the thread by Macgirl: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=83039 That stated that I should buy a new wireless card to get wifi. Is the same with this card? I don't know what next gen means :/. The mediakeys all work, don't they? Also, I want to trippleboot, XP, OSX, and Mediadirect. Can I partition it like this? XP = 15 Gig OSX = 15 Gig MediaDirect = ?? Gig Shared space= Other space. (this is where I install my windows, and mac programs, and keep my files, such as movies, music, and sample packs.) Thanks in advance!
