Equinox Hwong
My graphic card is 8400GS with 512MB RAM, the device ID is 0x06e4(So strange...). I'm using NVInject 0.2.1, but the driver can not work very well. It supports QE/CI, but when I change the resolution or refresh by System Preferences, I get a blue screen. And when I play some games that will change the resolution, I get a black screen, it is a big problem. I have a way to play this kind of game, I change the resolution that the game needs, and change it by System Preferences. When I get a blue screen, I make my computer sleep, then wake it up, the blue screen will disappear... But it is the worst way, I don't know what I can do. I'm sorry, my English is not very well... Equinox Hwong
Maybe it is useful. Someone used a DVI to VGA adapter, then he didn't see the blue screen any longer...

ernando
I also had this problem on my GeForce 8600GT 1GB. If you look closely on your Display in System Profiler, you should find no display connected. But I managed to solve this. First I get the proper NVCAP strings using NVCAP Maker from here. To get the VGA ROM you can read here. After put the proper NVCAP into EFI strings, I use VGA to DVI adapter then connect my LCD monitor to DVI. That's all.
