johnemerson Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I'm getting ready to put together a new linux box, but I'm also becoming increasingly temped by osx86. Ideally I'd liked to have it run osx86 as well as can be expected outside mac hardware, but I'm also intending to spend most of my time booted into linux. So I'm trying to go about a balancing act for maximum compatibility betwean the two operating systems, as far as buying hardware goes. Looking through the forum, the P5LD2 looks pretty good for a motherboard that would work with osx86. But I'm wondering how well the various integrated components would work with linux. I haven't been able to find much on google, especially not much written recently. Anyone using this board on linux, and if so what have your results been?
