Oh the Huge Manatee
Repost from another forum ... this one might be more appropriate. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry823752 Mods, feel free to move the original post to wherever you see fit. Basically, everything works great on my hackintosh, as long as I use "update" at the Darwin prompt. Anything else, and it reboots itself during boot... typically before it's even started loading kexts. So, what does the "update" kernel do? Can I just copy it over the default mach kernel, and let the system use it by default? How can I make sure I get a copy of the "update" kernel when we move beyond 9.2.0 kernel? Thanks for your help and knowledge...
