MacApprentice Posted March 10, 2006 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Hey guys, I'm trying to make a custom kernel with only the base patch but it doesn't work. All I get is a black screen and reboot. I'm using the Maxxuss 1.0a pack mach_kernel.orig and patches from the same package. I've tried to apply only the base patch as I have a P4 D 920 -> reboot, base patch + AMD patch -> reboot I even tried to undo the AMD_Enabler (cause I'm using Myzar DVD), it unpatchs well but I got the same thing with the kernels. MacApprentice Posted March 10, 2006 Author Share Posted March 10, 2006 Because the installer by Myzar was patched with AMD_Enabler so it seems the kernel must be too patched with the AMD patch.
