Maybe Im just kinda slow =P Now my screensaver doesnt look crappy and I can play movies!! \0/ XPS M1530 (running off of usb external hd) iAtkos v.7 then updated to 10.5.8 MacOS X 2.49GHz Intel® Coretm2 Duo T9300 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM GeForce 8600m GT: Chipset Model: GeForce 8600m GT Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0407 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: 0x Displays: Display: Resolution: 1920 x 1200 Depth: 32-Bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Rotation: Supported QuartzGL: Supported Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected Open GL Tests @ 1920x1200 1.1-1.5@49FPS 2.0@45FPS 2.1@46FPS 3.0 - Failed 8600m GT with iATKOS 10.5.4 More simple solution : Install : 1) NVInstallerV.41.pkg (maybe v51 or 52 works) 2) NVkushInstaller.pkg M1530 users you should NOT need NVinject.kext or ClamshellDisplay.kext. Download and install Pacifist and the Apple Leopard Graphics Update. Mount the Leopard Graphics Update dmg. Open up Pacifist and then click "Open Package". Browse to your Leopard Graphics Update package. Open it in Pacifist. When it opens, right click on the "Contents of LeopardGraphicsUpdate1.0.pkg" package and choose "Install to Default Location". Use administrator privelages. When it is done running, use OSx86 Tools to repair permissions and clear the extension cache. Reboot. Check System Profiler to see if QE/CI are working. They should be. I plan to put NVIDIA GEFORCE 8600M GT 512 MB. My question is whether the 8600M will run without problems on MAC OS X 10.6.2? Thanks in advance! andersbjerreg Posted March 20, 2010 Share Posted March 20, 2010 I have allready try this Dsdt mod, but not whit nvcap. Only added my nvcap in enabler and injecters. Is this not the same result as dsdt with nvcap? Anaway.. I will try, and will let you know if it works EDIT.. It does not work. It´s the same as the enabler and injecter. starchild2012 Posted June 27, 2010 Share Posted June 27, 2010 Hi I have 10.6.4 installed on a dell inspriron 1720, and whilst it says open cl etc is installed, moving windows around the screen is really jumpy.
