b1zkit
I have OS X installed and am trying to get sound on it. I've tried patching it with AppleAc97Audio.kext, but it gives me an error messege on this step; kextload: /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext is not a directory kextload: /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext is not a directory can't add kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext (not a directory) (run kextload on this kext with -t for diagnostic output). I would really love audio and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also included the entire terminal text if it will help. Thanks in advance! b1zkit
I finally got it copied, it must of been a corrupt download, but now after everthing is installed, it still doesn't work. I have an intel 945G chipset if that helps
fOZf8
I'm not sure which onboard sound you have, seeing as you didnt mention it, but for my azalia (C-Media 9880L), the sound comes out of the wrong output (ie, not the center channel)...I'm not sure which it is, I just reached around and kept replugging it in different outs until one had sound
