VGA-to-Component or S-Video with Intel 945GC?

Hi everyone!

OK, so I have a Shuttle KPC barebones with the Intel 945GC chipset and Kalyway OS X 10.5.2 installed. I love its small form factor, however, with a 100W power supply, it limits my ability to add a DVI video card output to hook to my HDTV. However, the VGA is working splendidly, so I was wondering if a VGA to component adapter might work just fine, such as the one like this listed on eBay:

Or, if the 945GC or OSX86 can't output in Y,Pr,Pb , perhaps a VGA-to-S-Video or RCA adapter would work? I'm not necessarily looking for full HD quality video (although that would be nice), just looking for something to output standard def. VHS-to-DVD quality movies that I have on my computer, and I'm not wanting to tear apart my rig and replace a proprietary power supply to do so. Let me know if you guys have any experiences with this, thanks!

I'd say the Y, Pr, Pb would work because it *seems* to directly use the outputs from the VGA out.

I think S-video won't work because it needs the driver to be compatible, and knowing apple, this feature is implemented, but probably only on the secondary output. Because we know there are laptop macs with GMA 950 that can use this connector, but those are always plugged on that secondary output. The appleTV has a GMA950 too, TV compability, and only 1 output but - knowing apple again - I bet that they internally disabled the real primary one and that the used one is the secondary, saving them from a driver rewrite (that's what they did for Xserve and ATI X1300 driver).

So, nothing really concrete here, only clues from logical deductions.
