xiberia
apparently its still on Majorgeeks. and there is a thread about this on Digg, with links to mirrors.
slylock
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we can use the kext in this thread to get Front Row working on 10.4.5, without using FrontRowEnabler. I imagine both do basically the same thing, fake out OS X to think there is an Apple remote control... http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=10470
xiberia
yeah, but how long before frontrowpass.kext gets a cease&decist too?
slylock
Looking closely at the FrontRowEnabler files (ls -a on the Enabler dmg volume), it includes some things like FrontRowUpdate.mpkg and BezelServices.framework which are probably derived or copied from Apple, whereas FrontRowPass is just a homegrown kext. Metrogirl
Yes, Majorgeeks still has it. Grab it while you can. I can't imagine they'll be allowed to mirror it for long, particularly as some of their servers are in the US.
