hogfan Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 I backed up my Extensions folder, updated my 10.5.2 Leopard install to 10.5.3 using the Kaly Updater and installed 10.5.3 Vanilla Kernel. Then I used Software update to get up to 10.5.4 without any problems. After going to 10.5.3, I verified that Core Image & Quartz Extreme were both broken again on my Radeon X1650 Pro card. So, I installed my old version from my backed up Extensions folder using KextHelper, & then manually copying the file and repairing permissions from Terminal. Either way video is all jacked up in normal mode now.....so I need to restore the 10.5.4 version of my ATIRadeonX1000.kext, but the problem is I forgot to back it up before replacing it with my old version. Anybody running 10.5.4 that could post up their 10.5.4 version of this file? It's part of Hackintosh, but annoying when you lose CI & QE everytime you upgrade. I guess I will need to hexedit and patch the 10.5.4 version of ATIRadeonX1000.kext. Thanks to anyone who can help with posting this file. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
