(I also have the GMA 3100 0x29b2) Still no Hardware Acceleration, so no fusion for me yet I need to change the resolution on my HP DV6600! How do you did it? what is the resolutiontrick? ario_2025 Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 My experience: I try to up to 1280x1024, then i used OSx86 Tools and just in simple configuration in apple.plist with "Graphics...=1280x1024x32" And works well. I've Intel DG31br with C2D, GMA 3100. Quartz seems activated (in OSx86 Tools), but, i think it's working in VESA mode, but, resolution right now works fine. Whenver I tried it in normal 64bit mode it gives only the basic 1024x768 .. I guess it's the same for SL. P.S: my chip is 2a42 so my kext is patched with this device code. shady195 Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 Would also like to know if anyone has a "fix" for this on the 3100. Can't use 1680x1050.. I have a Dell optiplex 755 that I loaded this on and everything works great surprisingly aside from no graphics acceleration, unfortunately being one of the slimfactors adding in another video card is not possible.
